Pharma students of Aryans Group visited ITC, Panchkula

B. Pharmacy and D. Pharmacy students of Aryans College of Pharmacy, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh were recently taken to an industrial visit to Interstellar Testing Centre (ITC) Private Limited, Panchkula. The visit aimed to understand the technologies & procedures used in Industry, thus providing a practical edge.

Dr. Ajay Kumar Chief Analytical Officer and Dr. Rohit Kumar Nayak, Head Quality Assurance (QA) discussed various aspects of testing and assurance in the fields of Drugs, Food & Chemicals, Ayurvedic, Microbiological, Environment (Air, Water & Soil), Building Materials etc.

Dr. Ajay Kumar interacted with the students and shared his views about the testing parameters, quality control and quality assurance aspects of the Pharma industry.

Dr. Rohit Kumar Nayak giving details said that the lab provides a systemic approach to support its customer's Quality Assurance efforts in each of the areas of their operation including R&D, raw materials, manufacturing, finished products, process improvement, distribution and retail channels.
Students were well informed about the working conditions, do’s and do not's, lab ethics, precautions etc to be taken in the Pharma Industries.
